RK-0 woke up a few centuries after, "The Great Merge", unable to remember anything about their past life. Many pre-merge androids unfortunately had to endure such a fate due to being offline for a long period of time-- their memory systems naturally physically decaying in the process.

Due to being one of the first androids, their expressiveness and mobility is highly limited. They require frequent repairs and management in order to continue functioning. Their voice sounds similarly to an old text to speech application, like Microsoft Sam, though highly distorted due to an old voicebox (that is difficult to find replacements for).

This does not stop RK-0 from being an adventerous fellow, opting to lead a nomadic lifestyle. Their brimming curiosity makes them want to see everything relating to the highly eolving planet they live on. They would like to rest in a beautiful, peaceful place once they finally break down.
